Monday: The southwest drought has been on going for a decade now and some residents are taking radical measures, as Tony Paniagua reports. Tucson Professional Gardener Phil Seader joins host Bill Buckmaster to discuss the impact of drought on native species. And Pam White takes a look at a Biosphere 2 Project related to climate change.

Tuesday: Tucson’s Arizona Inn is facing a milestone. It is 80 years old and for those few who have never been inside Pam White takesus on a tour. Writer Kristie Miller joins host Bill Buckmaster to speak about her new book, which chronicles the friendship between Arizona Inn Founder Isabella Greenway and Eleanor Roosevelt. Kimberly Craft tells us that a new generation is talking up an almost lost art...sewing.

Wednesday: Southern Arizona is known as the astronomy capitol of the world. However, Pam White reports on how increasing light pollution is threatening the claim. Dr. Michael Drake of the UA Department of Planetary Sciences joins Bill Buckmaster to speak further about dark skies. Kimberly Craft reports on a program which allowed Sunnyside School District to offer laptops to some 300 high school students.

Thursday: Christopher Conover reports on a new state law which mandates non-partisan elections and why it has Tucson city officials up in arms. Tucson attorney Si Schorr joins host Bill Buckmaster to talk about the process of instituting non-partisan elections. Producer Tom Kleespie has prepared a special report to mark November as Native American Month.

Friday: Our Roundtable guest this week if Pima County Supervisor Ray Carroll. This week the show is being produced on the road in Green Valley, in front of a live audience. Joining host Bill Buckmaster will be Jim Nintzel of the Tucson Weekly and Dan Shearer of the Green Valley News.
